lucky the leak wasn't too bad! will this also happen to the stock fuel lines under the supra? or will those lines survive ok? i will want to run E85 on my supra one day aswell!
You might already know this but the E-85 could also rust away the fuel tank if it sits for too long

From the research ive done, it'll work, but to make this gearbox fit on a ca18det, you will need to change the sr20 bellhousing to a ca18 bellhousing

thats a big boy turbo, sure that thing can handle over 500bhp, whats the limit for the stock block on these before it starts to blow up ?
450 hp will blow up 4th gear in the transmission. 80% gains are really good on a stock block. Anything more you’re really gonna start hurting longevity.
Exactly what @dacrispy5268 said. I've seen some with around 400hp running great. Max boost levels ive seen on stock block are 12psi but too risky for my liking.. My tuner recommended i keep my torque levels under 350NM aswell, as anything over will hurt the engine and trans

When u tapped the holes for the oil, were yous afraid getting shavings in the sump? also what size tapping bit did yous use?
Yes it was deffinatly a concern of ours! But we went bit by bit with a vacuum cleaner nearby and tried to suck in all the metal shavings as they were coming out! Tree style drill bit up to around 12-14mm

Not yet! Trying to find an off the shelf has been quite the task, we are planning to get one custom made, but havn't got around to it yet

Start date was May 2020, finish was around 6 months after, as we took our time with it as life got in the way also with work commitments and so

Yes this was the w58 5 speed before we swapped it out for the big boy (TREMEC T56 MAGNUM)
